Registration for SPRING term starting April 1, 2025
NEW CLASS!!! Urban Landscapes in Mixed Media: April 2- May 28, 2025 , Wednesdays 10:00-1:00pm in-person class
Urban landscapes in Portland can be used as great inspiration to create mixed media abstract paintings. We will study urban landscapes of PDX in watercolor; and other water-soluble materials such as pen and ink, gouache, watercolor pencils, graphite, and soft pastels. Students will be encouraged to create bold, gestural works that can convey a looseness and expressionistic style.
Landscapes and Beyond: basic watercolor class April 1-May 27, 2025. Tuesdays 10:00-1:00pm in-person class
During this nine-week course, students will be painting in the studio from photographs, learning basic watercolor techniques, and how to plan a painting. We will explore various techniques of painting in a loose and expressive style of watercolor, both realistically and leaning towards abstraction.

CLASS REGULATIONS for all in-person and online CLASSES
-All students will receive a recording of the online class if you attend the class.
If you can not attend the live class and just want the recording of the class, requested recording of the class will be sent out shortly after scheduled time of the class.
-Class purchases are good for any upcoming class or recording of upcoming class.
-Recordings of past classes are available, and are the same price as a live class.
-Please note that there will no refunds if student has registered for a class and does not show up.
-There is no refund if student has registered for a course of multiple classes and the course has started.
-Cancelations made 7 days in advance will receive 100%refund
-Cancellations made within 48 hours may receive credit used towards a future class. No refund.
-Multiple class purchase can be used for the current year on any upcoming classes in that category.
